![]() Of course we could always buy another windows system and then leave that permanently as the terminal - but its unfortunate that we would have to go to that lenght just to scan. Our staff use laptops which they take with them. In relation to virtualscan - unfortunately - there isn't a windows based system that remains in the office at all times. It would appear that there is no scanner driver (While there is a print driver.) and to the best of my knowledge - a generic Twain driver doesn't seem to exist that fits the bill. I believe the twain redirection would work with Mac's. If you are using Citrix you can try their twain redirection function which sometimes can get difficult to configure. The one thing I can suggest is if you have a windows based system that you can attach a scanner to our software allows you to network that scanner and make it available to multiple users. There are a few companies that have this type of software but from what I know we all support only Windows operating systems. Hi, Our company makes a remote scanning software that allows you to scan directly into Terminal Server and Citrix hosted applications using any twain compliant scanner (which is most scanners). If anyone knows whether or not its possible and could point me in the right direction as to how it might be done - I'd be very much obliged. What I'm wondering is if anyone knows whether or not its possible to scan onto the mac from the printer/Scanner over the network? We can print over the network no problem and I can scan to windows based machines - but I can't seem to scan to a mac. We also have a Develop Ineo 253 printer/scanner/fax. ![]() ![]() Hi, I work in a small business - we've recently purchased a number of imacs. ![]()
